Tayler and Keisha's wedding day proved nothing can hold back an optimistic bride and groom from having an amazing day.
The couples day started with unexpected freezing weather (including snow flurries and rain) which was a shock to us all considering the weekend before reached a high of 80 degrees! Taking outside pictures was challenging at this crazy temp, but Keisha and Tayler kept smiling through their chattering teeth.
After becoming #APerfectPerrin, they exited the church and Tayler was surprised to see a gift of his late grandfather's gator. Yes, there were tons of tears, and it was hard for us not to cry with them. You could tell Tayler was very close with his pap, and it was a very special moment to be apart of.
Keisha and Tayler then rode off in the gator with a just married sign and dangling cans behind them. They were headed to the Perrin family farm for photos before their reception when Keisha felt her dress being pulled tighter and tighter. The gator was literally eating her dress! Keisha had Tayler stop just in time. Her dress and veil got caught in the drive shaft and both ended up being covered in grease and ripped in a few places. Most brides would have panicked at this point (we would have!), but Keisha amazingly remained calm. She said the incident only made her think of Tayler's Pap more, and she smiled knowing that he could be there in spirit with them.
After battling the gator, it was too cold to spend much more than 15 minutes outside with the bride and groom, but it was worth every shiver. The sun peaked out from behind the clouds and a gorgeous double rainbow appeared right behind the happy couple and overtop their future family home. What a symbolic blessing over their family, and it made for breathtaking photos! We were literally running to get the best angles of the rainbow before it disappeared, and it didn't last long. Watching the newlyweds soak it all in is why we love being a part of such a special day. No wedding day is the same, and it's always neat to see what we can capture at each one. Thank you Tayler and Keisha for this unforgettable day!
